Tommy fury: Winner by SD (Split Decision)
Tonight Tommy Fury took a Split Decision win over Jake Paul in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. The two have had a lot to say to each other over the last 2 or so years which was finally settled tonight. Both predicted a KO win but the fight went the full distance and the judges scored cards were left to decide the winner.
Judge Mike Ross from the US, had Jake Paul as the winner with a 75-74 score card whilst the other two judges were unanimous in a 76-73 score card. The referee himself had a part to play in the fight by deducting a point from each fighter, one in the 6th for Jake Paul & one in the 7th for Tommy Fury. Paul also scored another 10-8 round in the last round by putting Tommy on the canvas with a good jab.
